Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria Temirtay Izbastin held a meeting with Patriarch of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia His Holiness Neophyte, the main topic of which was the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions on September 14-15, 2022 in Nur -Sultan, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the meeting the Kazakh diplomat handed over to the interlocutor a letter on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev with an invitation to take part in the Congress and told the Patriarch of Bulgaria about the experience of Kazakhstan in maintaining and developing interethnic and interfaith harmony.
In turn Neophyte thanked for the invitation assuring that it would be carefully considered.
