During the meeting with the Chairman of the Kazakh-Korean inter-parliamentary friendship group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Woo Won-shik, the parties noted the high dynamics of bilateral relations in all areas, including inter-parliamentary interaction.
The Kazakh delegation stressed the importance of intensifying mutual exchange between the relevant relevant committees and noted the forthcoming visit of the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.Koshanov to the Republic of Korea. Also, A.Milyutin invited South Korean colleagues to visit Kazakhstan in the near future.
In turn, Woo Won-shik warmly noted his visit to Kazakhstan in 2021 and expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for the transfer of the remains of General Hong Beom Do as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to the Republic of Korea. Also, the Head of the Friendship Group announced the readiness of the South Korean deputies to visit Kazakhstan in 2022.
In addition, during the visit, the deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with the Chairman of the Committee for Ecology and Labor of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Pak Tae Chul. During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of ecology and nature management.
