On May 10, 2022, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran Askhat Orazbay participated in the ceremony declaring Sari, the administrative center of Mazandaran Province, as the tourist capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The event was held with the participation of the Minister of cultural heritage, tourism, and handicrafts of Iran Seyed Ezzatollah Zarghami, ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri, Governor of Mazandaran Province Mahmoud Hosseinipour, chairmen of the regional Maslikhat and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, activists as well as ambassadors and senior diplomats of the ECO member states.
