The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary took part in the 36th annual Festival of Folk Arts (Mesterségek Ünnepe), which was held on August 19-21, 2022 in the famous Buda Castle, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

The event was organized by the Association of Hungarian Folk Artists (Népművészeti Egyesületek Szövetsége). The festival is known not only for its dance and music programs, but also for the fair, where local and foreign craftsmen sell handmade products to guests.

During the event, Embassy’s diplomats visited the pavilion of Kazakhstan, where Kazakh craftsmen and entrepreneurs offered traditional Kazakh handicrafts, costumes and souvenirs to the visitors.

The Hungarian public showed great interest in the handicrafts of the famous Kazakh jewelry artist Serzhan Bashirov, whose works reflect the unique heritage of the nomads.
