Maulen Ashimbayev met with Abdelatif bin Abdulaziz bin Abdrahman Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The Chairman of the Senate, Head of the Secretariat of the VII Congress thanked the Minister for his participation in the Forum and his valuable contribution to achieving the objectives of the Congress, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia is one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in the Middle East.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in his turn, has noted the authority, high role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and also contribution of Kazakhstan in promotion of the inter-confessional and inter-civilization dialogue.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects for cooperation and tasks for further promotion of interreligious dialogue at the international level.
