Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Reforms Sir Suma Chakrabarti, and discussed the Government measures to implement the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan dated Sept. 1, 2022, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Prime Minister said that the Government is currently finalizing a draft of the economic policy for the medium term, the key areas of which will be the diversification and modernization of the economy, reforming public administration and integrated development of human capital.
The result of this work must be the sustainable economic growth, providing a real increase in national income and improving the welfare of citizens.
In turn, Sir Chakrabarti expressed confidence that the new Government program will be an effective response to the current economic and social challenges.
The parties also discussed the financing of the new investment projects and ensuring the country's food security, as well as exchanged opinions on the current areas of the regional agenda.
