A briefing was held in the capital of Armenia by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Bolat Imanbayev, dedicated to the results of the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by representatives of the expert community, business circles, public organizations and the media of Armenia. The participants were informed in detail about the course of the election campaign and the voting results, according to which 81.31% of Kazakhstani citizens voted for the incumbent President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with a high voter turnout. It was noted that the active participation of the people of Kazakhstan in the voting is a confirmation of the high confidence in the reforms being carried out in the country, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Armenian experts, congratulating on the successful conduct of the election campaign, noted that the results of the elections testify to the broad support for the course of the Head of State, which is aimed at political and socio-economic modernization and development of civil society in Kazakhstan. Political scientists expressed support for the Kazakh leadership in the process of large-scale political and economic reforms in the face of modern global challenges. According to them, positive changes are already being observed in Kazakhstan in such areas as ensuring the rule of law, improving the business climate, increasing public confidence in government, etc. According to Armenian experts and international observers, the elections were held as openly as possible in accordance with the requirements and normsof international law and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
