At a meeting of the Senate Bureau, chaired by the Speaker of the House Maulen Ashimbayev, deputies defined the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Senate, scheduled for December 1, 2022, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Thus, senators will consider draft laws "On Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data" and "On Amendments and Addenda to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Issues of Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data".
The draft law "On Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data" is aimed at improving legislation in this area, strengthening coordination of state policy and implementation of generally recognized international principles and approaches of regulation of geodesic and cartographic activities.
The main objectives of the draft law "On Amendments and Addenda to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Issues of Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data" are to provide Kazakhstan with a highly accurate geodetic reference system and on its basis create a unified digital cartographic framework.
In addition, during the meeting, members of the Bureau distributed among the standing committees of the Senate bills previously received from the Mazhilis.
