The "Ambassadors Choice International Film Festival" was held in the diplomatic corps of Riyadh from November 24 to December 14, 2022, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Along with Kazakhstan, such countries as India, Spain, Australia, Cuba, Sweden, Bangladesh, USA, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Lebanon, Palestine take part in the festival.
The Kazakh film "Tomiris" directed by Akan Satayev was presented to the public as part of the festival. The film is based on the chronicles of the ancient Greek historian Herodotus of Halicarnassus telling about the queen of the Massagetae.
The film received positive reviews from local viewers and representatives of the diplomatic corps. Festival visitors highly appreciated the performance of the actors of the national cinema. They also noted the scope and execution of the complex battle stunt scenes and called "Tomiris" one of the most interesting films in recent years.
