The participation of the Ethiopian delegation at the Astana International Forum on June 8-9 this year was in the focus of an expert meeting organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan jointly with the Center for Investment and Networking in Ethiopia, DKNews.kz reports.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Ethiopian business interested in the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Permanent Representative to the African Union Barlybay Sadykov informed about the features of the Forum in Astana and the topics of upcoming discussions on global development.
In particular, the Ambassador noted the provision of a special panel session to the former President of Ethiopia on the first day of the Forum, during which he will answer questions about the role of Africa and pan-Africanism in global affairs. It is expected that in addition to Dr. Mulatu Teshome, the Minister of Trade and Regional Integration Gebremeskel Challa, as well as a group of businessmen, will also take part in the Forum from Ethiopia.
In general, Ethiopian experts showed great interest in the participation of the Ethiopian delegation at the Forum in Astana and noted great prospects for bilateral cooperation.
