The Embassy of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with Kazakh students from Latvian universities who took an active part in supporting the Kazakhstan National Ice Hockey Team at the 2023 IIHF World Championship in Riga and in organizing and conducting flash mobs in the Latvian capital and in Jurmala to coincide with the Kazakhstan's bid to host the 2027 IIHF World Championship in Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.
On May 25, 2023 in Tampere (Finland) at the Annual Congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation there will be an official presentation of our country's bid to host the 2027 World Championship in Astana and Almaty.
