In the ancient Georgian city a trilateral memorandum on cooperation between the rugby unions of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia was signed, DKNews.kz reports.

The memorandum provides for the establishment of closer relations between clubs, specialists, the organization of training camps and common competitions.

The document from the Kazakh side was signed by Aigul Zhartybaeva, president of the Kazakhstan Rugby Federation, who noted the importance of implementing in practice the successful experience of Georgia in the development of national rugby.

The Georgian side, as a regional leader in rugby, expressed its willingness to assist in the training of specialists: coaches, referees and managers, as well as provide its technical base for conducting educational and training camps.
