Possibilities of Expansion of Trade and Economic Cooperation Discussed in Serbia, DKNews.kz reports.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan Madi Atamkulov met with representatives of the Serbian business community at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Opening the event, Kazakh diplomat presented information about the economic achievements of his state, as well as the main trends in the development of the domestic economy. In this context, Madi Atamkulov emphasized the promotion of Kazakh exports to the Serbian market, as well as the establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries within the framework of opportunities to establish joint production in a number of areas.
In this regard, the participants of the meeting were informed in detail about the measures to stimulate the inflow of foreign investment, improve the business environment, as part of the implementation of the new economic policy proposed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Serbian entrepreneurs expressed interest in the implementation of not only the supply of their products, but also in the transfer of technology in Kazakhstan, in the field of seed production, processing of agricultural products, as well as the production of vaccines. In addition, the companies are ready to discuss the import of Kazakh food products for sale in supermarkets in Serbia.
At the end of the meeting Kazakh diplomats invited business representatives to participate in forums and other economic events, which will be held in Kazakhstan in 2024.
