A week of Kazakh film was held in Türkiye, organized by the Embassy, Consulates General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Istanbul and Antalya, with the support of “Qazaqfilm”, DKNews.kz reports.
At the event, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Ulus Juchi and to the 110th anniversary of the prominent figure in Kazakhstan’s film industry Shaken Aimanov, a historical film about the Kazakh Khanate “The Diamond Sword” was shown in major cities of Türkiye such as Antalya, Alanya, Denizli, Mersin, Istanbul, Sakarya, Izmir and Ankara.
The film, screening about the geopolitical heritage of the Golden Horde, which was the basis for the emergence of a number of Eurasian states, including the Kazakh Khanate, aroused the pride of our compatriots and great interest of Turkish viewers in the history of the Kazakh people and was positively evaluated by the guests.
Specially noting the similarity of the history and culture of the two brotherly countries, the audience drew attention to the importance of such events.
