Presentation of Xi Jinping's Book in Almaty: A New Perspective on China's Foreign Policy

Today, Almaty hosted the presentation of the book "Xi Jinping. Foreign Policy of Modern China (2013-2023): Selected Speeches, Addresses, and Articles". The event, organized by the Expert Club "One Belt - One Road" with the support of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, gathered leading experts, diplomats, and representatives of the media and academic community, DKnews.kz reports.

The presentation's opening began with a welcome speech from the Chairman of the Expert Club's Board, B.K. Sultanov. He emphasized the importance of studying China's foreign policy to understand global changes and highlighted Xi Jinping's contribution to the development of international relations.

The Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, Ms. Jiang Wei, in her speech, thanked Mr. Sultanov for his efforts and strategic vision, which made the publication of the book possible.

Ms. Jiang Wei noted that the decade of the new era has been a period of significant changes and development in Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought. The Chairman's ideas, based on Marxism and traditional Chinese culture, open new horizons for the theory and practice of Chinese diplomacy. The collection includes important speeches, articles, and interviews that demonstrate the evolution of key ideas and the practical implementation of diplomacy at the head-of-state level.

The central theme of the book is the idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind, which Xi Jinping first introduced in 2013 in Moscow. Over the years, China has actively promoted this concept, creating communities with shared futures with dozens of countries and regions.

During the round table, participants discussed the current relations between China and Central Asian countries. Special attention was paid to Xi Jinping's role in these processes and his "One Belt - One Road" initiative, which was first proposed in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of diplomatic and consular institutions, prominent figures from the academic field, media, and Chinese language teachers emphasized the importance of the book for understanding modern China's foreign policy. They expressed hope that this collection would become a valuable resource for further research and development of Sino-Kazakh relations.

The presentation of the book "Xi Jinping.
