On October 12, a concert of the symphony orchestra under the baton of the famous French conductor Christophe Mangou will take place at the Astana Ballet Theatre, DKnews.kz reports
The concert program includes not only global hits by French composers, but also a composition by Aktoty Raimkulova, which will be performed by musicians of the symphony orchestra and the “TURAN” ensemble.
The concert program includes works by Paul Duke, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Maurice Ravel. Christophe Mangou conducts more than ten famous orchestras in France. Among them there are the Orchestre National d’Ile de France, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and others. Christophe Mangou has worked with many orchestras in the United Kingdom. The conductor performs in the USA, most European countries, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, and Australia. He develops projects with the participation of classical musicians, jazzmen, and other artists from different backgrounds, as well as has been collaborating with world-renowned DJ Jeff Mills for about 10 years. From 2000 to 2005 he worked with the symphony orchestra of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. He performed with the student orchestra in Germany, England, and the USA.
Christophe Mangou preferred French classics for the concert in Astana. This is his first performance with the Symphony orchestra of the Astana Ballet Theatre. Also, for the first time, he will conduct the composition of Aktoty Raimkulova – “Dala Syry”. The musicians of the orchestra and the “TURAN” ensemble will perform this piece.
