Kazakhstan and Thailand: prospects for joint projects in the processing of fish products

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Discusses Cooperation Prospects with Thailand’s Largest Processing Plant, DKnews.kz reports

In order to implement the agreements reached between the Thai company “Sea Value” and “Kazakh Invest” national company during the visit of the Thai delegation to Astana in August of this year, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Arman Issetov met with the President of “Sea Value” Poj Aramwattananont.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation prospects and the implementation of joint projects in Kazakhstan. Talgat Seitov, the head of the Kazakh company “Aspan Asia,” who is considered as a potential partner for “Sea Value” in Kazakhstan, also participated in the discussion.

The Kazakh delegation was familiarized with the production capabilities of the processing plant for canned fish products and pet food.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation and approved plans for the practical implementation of joint projects.

Sea Value is the second-largest producer of canned tuna in Thailand, with its products exported to 150 countries worldwide. The company has a processing facility in France and a branch in the Netherlands.
