Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands Kairat Abdrakhmanov met with Richard van der Laan, Managing Director of REPA Conveyor Equipment, to discuss the development of a bilateral investment project between the company and their Kazakh partner. The meeting focused on the establishment of a production plant in Kazakhstan aimed on manufacturing conveyor equipment for mining sector.
Parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in the industrial sector. Van der Laan expressed REPA Conveyor Equipment’s strong interest in expanding its operations into Kazakhstan, citing the country’s growing industrial base and strategic location. Ambassador Abdrakhmanov assured van der Laan that the Embassy of Kazakhstan would provide full support for the project. In addition, project is set to receive backing from Kazakh Invest National Company, which will work closely with REPA Conveyor Equipment to facilitate a smooth investment process.
This initiative highlights the ongoing development of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands and underscores the importance of diversifying bilateral ties beyond traditional sectors.
