Astana and Dushanbe “Compared the Notes” on Key Issues of Interaction within the Framework of Multilateral Cooperation, DKnews.kz reports.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Valikhan Turekhanov met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nasredin Ismatullo.
During the conversation, the parties noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation across the entire spectrum of relations and exchanged views on current issues on the regional agenda. Special attention was paid to the issues of interaction between the two countries within the framework of multilateral platforms, including the UN, CICA, CARICC, etc.
The parties noted the similarity of positions on a number of pressing international issues and expressed satisfaction with the mutual support of the foreign policy initiatives of the two countries.
In conclusion of the conversation, Valikhan Turekhanov thanked Nasredin Ismatullo for the meeting and the readiness expressed by the Tajik side to continue constructive cooperation in further strengthening Kazakh-Tajik relations in all areas.
