Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Takeshi Iwaya, DKnews.kz reports.
The heads of foreign ministries discussed a number of important issues of Kazakh-Japanese relations, the expansion of trade, economic and investment ties.
The ministers also exchanged views on the most pressing topics on the international agenda, including issues of regional and global security.
The mutual intention to continue joint work aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Japan was confirmed.
