The Vatican expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the Deputy Secretary of the Holy See, DKnews.kz reports

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Kairat Sarzhanov held a meeting with the Deputy Secretary for Relations with States of the Holy See, Mirosław Wachowski. During the meeting, both sides emphasized that the first official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Vatican in January this year gave significant impetus to elevating bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

In this context, Wachowski expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for the opening of the Embassy to the Holy See and noted the Vatican’s interest in developing cooperation in the fields of medicine, science, and research. He also wished the Kazakh diplomat success in his future professional endeavors as his mandate comes to an end.

Ambassador Sarzhanov emphasized that Kazakhstan shares the global vision of the Catholic Church, which is based on the ideals of goodness, justice, solidarity, and compassion. He also highly appreciated the comprehensive support provided for the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
