Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan, together with Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, organized a special excursion today in Astana for children with disabilities, beneficiaries of the charitable foundation Osobye Prazdniki ("Special Holidays"). The event, held in celebration of Capital City Day, took place in the technical hangar, DKnews.kz reports.

The excursion was attended by 15 children and their parents. They toured the hangar where aircraft undergo maintenance and pre-flight preparations, learned about the structure of an aircraft, visited the cockpit, got acquainted with the work of aviation engineers and technical staff, and asked questions about careers in aviation.

The main goal of the event was to introduce children to the world of aviation, broaden their horizons, and promote inclusivity within the industry.

FlyArystan continues to support social initiatives and strengthen partnerships with charitable organizations, contributing to the creation of an accessible environment for all categories of citizens. Earlier, the air company provided financial support to the public association Territory of Success to implement the social project Umit, aimed at comprehensive rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy who have been left without parental care. FlyArystan also runs the ongoing Komek program, which provides a 50% flight discount for passengers with Group I disabilities and one accompanying person.
