Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier, FlyArystan, has announced the launch of a new seasonal flight route connecting Astana and Issyk-Kul (Tamchy), DKNews.kz reports.
Starting in the summer of 2026, passengers will be able to enjoy a quick and affordable journey to one of Central Asia’s most popular vacation spots. The flights will operate during the peak summer season, offering an excellent travel option for both locals and tourists looking to explore the beautiful Issyk-Kul region.

The direct flights will be available from July 3 to August 31, 2026, with departures twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The flight schedule is as follows:
- Departure from Astana: 07:30
- Arrival in Issyk-Kul (Tamchy): 10:45
- Return flight from Issyk-Kul: 12:00
- Arrival in Astana: 13:20

The standard fare includes a randomly assigned seat on board and one piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 7 kg (dimensions not exceeding 56 × 23 × 36 cm).
Complementary Flights from Almaty
In addition to the new Astana-Issyk-Kul route, FlyArystan will continue to operate its flights from Almaty to Issyk-Kul. These flights, which have been running since June, also operate twice a week:
- Departure from Almaty: Thursdays and Sundays
- Flight period: From June 18 to August 30, 2026
