Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov visited the exhibition titled "Domestication of horses - from an ancient horse to horses of ancient people", organized by the Museum of Natural Sciences of Hungary and the Magyar-Turan Foundation, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The event is dedicated to the transcontinental history of horses, starting with the evolution of horses, then their domestication, and ending with the presentation of the role of horses in shaping history. In addition, the exhibition presents the life of steppe nomadic civilizations, which was also a defining element of the ancient history and culture of the Hungarians.
It should be noted that the steppes of Kazakhstan in the past were inhabited by many tribes that contributed to the formation of the modern culture of the country. The Botai culture left a vivid historical imprint, with which some scientists associate the first domestication of the horse.
