On March 31, 2022, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Indonesia and Non-Resident Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Philippines Mr. Daniyar Sarekenov hold a meeting with the Assistant Secretary for Sustainable Finance, Disaster Risk Finance and Special Projects of the Department of Finance Ms. Paola Sherina Alvarez, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing projects related to the development of green technologies in Kazakhstan. The meeting also attended the Chairman of the NJSC “International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center” Ms. Zhanar Igenova and Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Center Mr. Aidar Yessembayev. The Philippine side was informed about the history of the Center's establishment, current activities and the process of accreditation to the Green Climate Fund.
Ms. Paola Sherina Alvarez is an Alternate Member of the Governing Board of the Green Climate Fund.
