The Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adlbek Sarsembayev paid a working visit to Serbia as a head of a representative delegation of employees from national security ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» and its subsidiaries, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Within the program of the visit, meetings were held with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic and the director of the State defence Company of Serbia «Yugoimport SDPR» Jugoslav Petkovic.
The parties discussed the state and potential of cooperation between the two countries in the military-industrial sphere, the prospects for creating joint ventures, and exchanging experience.
The Kazakhstani delegation also visited a number of leading enterprises in the Serbian defence industry sector.
As a result of the visit, an agreement was reached on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and signing of a Memorandum between «Kazakhstan Engineering» and «Yugoimport SDPR».
