Kazakhstan and South Korea strengthen cooperation in the legal field

During an official visit to the Republic of Korea, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami met with the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea Yoo Nam Seok, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

Kairat Mami informed the interlocutor about the ongoing constitutional reform being carried out in the country, emphasizing the establishment of the Constitutional Court with the right of citizens’ appeals, the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Prosecutor General.

In turn, Yu Nam Seok noted that Korea is following the events in Kazakhstan with interest and expressed confidence that the meeting will serve to further develop positive relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the importance of this visit in the study of new approaches in the field of constitutional proceedings, as well as the exchange of experience, information and achievements in the legal field.

At the end of the meeting, the parties noted the need to further deepening of cooperation, which will serve to strengthen Kazakh-Korean relations on the principles of mutually beneficial partnership.
