Today in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan there was an open lesson titled "Constitution is the foundation of my country", dedicated to Constitution Day and Knowledge Day, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

The Library's leading personnel, representatives of the Nur-Sultan Education Department and teachers of the capital’s schools attended the event.

Within the walls of the Library, the first bell sounded for the kids of Binom-School Tanym. The first lesson for future schoolchildren was devoted to the main law of the country - the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event is aimed at forming a respectful attitude toward the political symbols of the country, education in the spirit of patriotism and civic consciousness, and strengthening of constructive values.

"Today, we are witnessing one of the most exciting moments in the life of these kids – the beginning of the first school year. It has already become a good tradition to hold such a holiday lesson every year in the Library of the First President. And the topic of today's lesson is important and relevant. After all, very soon we will celebrate Constitution Day, amendments and additions that were made to the Main Law of the country after the republican referendum held in June this year on the initiative of the Head of State. The updated Constitution has become a symbol of the country's entry into a new stage of its development. It is also significant that the President of Kazakhstan has declared this year the Year of Children. We need to pay close attention to the development and well-being of our younger generation because this is our future, the future of Kazakhstan" Botagoz Kaipova, Deputy Director of the Library

In turn, the statesman and public figure Asima Bimendina congratulated the first-graders on the first bell and the beginning of the school year, wishing them to grow up worthy citizens of our Motherland, true patriots and highly educated specialists.

At the end of the festive event, the teaching staff of Binom-School Tanym received letters of appreciation and school kits for the first graders.
