On November 28, 2022, an official reception was held in Seoul in honor of the national holiday of Kazakhstan - Republic Day, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The event was attended by more than 300 guests, including diplomats from various embassies, representatives of government agencies of Korea, the leadership of leading South Korean companies, representatives of the South Korean and Kazakh media, as well as the Kazakh diaspora in the Republic of Korea.
In his speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Bakyt Dyussenbayev spoke about large-scale political reforms aimed at democratizing society, and also noted the strategic nature and prospects of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and South Korea.
In turn, the guest of honor of the event - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Choi Young Sam emphasized that strong trust and friendship between the two states have become a solid foundation for strengthening mutually beneficial relations in various fields and assured that the South Korean government will try to bring the strategic partnership to a new level.
As part of the event, the guests were shown a video about the achievements of Kazakhstan, as well as national souvenirs, printed materials and samples of traditional Kazakh cuisine. The guests of the event were able to enjoy the music of the national instruments of Kazakhstan, and get acquainted with the culture and history of the Kazakhs.
