A round table dedicated to the outstanding Hungarian orientalist, traveler, zoologist and ethnographer György Almásy was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

The event organized by the Faculty of Philology was held at the scientific library of Al-Farabi. The delegation, which included Hungarian Consul in Almaty Peter Siklos, ethnologist Shanta Istvan, ethnologist Shomfai Kara David showed great interest in the exhibition of innovative projects of KazNU scientists and the plan for the construction of the second stage of the university campus.

The agenda of the event included presentation of speakers, of a short documentary film by Shomfai Kara David, as well as a discussion of the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The event ended with a memorable photo shoot.
