On December 19, 2022, “Almaty Tourism Day” road-show organized in Muscat. At the event, the tourism potential of Kazakhstan and the city of Almaty were presented, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of Oman, the Department of Tourism of Almaty, Salam Air, and more than 20 Oman tour operators, as well as media representatives.
Omani companies have shown high interest in promoting Kazakhstani destination. Salam Air has expressed an interest to launch direct flight between the two countries in 2023.
