A romantic comedy co-produced by Kazakhstan and Georgia. «More Than Love» was released in cinemas from 9 March and tells the incredible adventures of Georgians in Kazakhstan who fly to Almaty to fulfil a promise once made by their ancestors, DKNews.kz reports.

The story told by the filmmakers of the two countries takes place in the fields of the Great Patriotic War. Two scouts, the Georgian Vano and the Kazakh Bakhytzhan, on their way back from a mission, are hit by an airstrike. At the cost of his own life Bakhytzhan rescues Vano. By the bedside of his dying comrade Vano swears that their children will become relatives. However, Vano has failed to fulfil his promise, and now his grandchildren will have to fulfil their promise. And here the real adventure begins...

Kazakh actors Sharip Serik, Tolepbergen Baisakalov, Azat Seytmetov, Danagul Temirsultanova, Karlygash Isabekova and Tauekel Musilim as well as Georgian actors Natia Tsitsilashvili, Ilia Chkhaidze and Zurab Kipshidze played roles in the film. It has happened that participation in the film was the last film role of the popular Kazakh actor Farkhat Abdraimov. Vakhtang Kikabidze, who was also involved in the making of the film, also passed away recently.

The song "To be with you", which became the official soundtrack of the film, is performed by singer Soso Pavliashvili, while the lyrics are written by famous composer Konstantin Meladze.

The film reflects the main idea that love and friendship can unite people and countries.
