German Ambassador to Georgia discussed cargo transit opportunities between Europe and Asia with Batumi seaport management, DKNews.kz reports.
Ulan Tleugali, General Director of Batumi Seaport LLC, met with Peter Fischer, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia at the Batumi seaport terminal. Peter Fischer learned about the technical capabilities of the port.
The Ambassador emphasized the crucial role of Georgia in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, as well as the Batumi seaport’s significance as the main hub for transit cargo in the direction of Europe - Asia and back.
