Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin met with the Coordinator to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce and Industry Mr. Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan. The sides discussed issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as plans for the current year, DKNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the Ambassador informed about the ongoing and planned activities aimed at strengthening cooperation and expanding communication channels between the two countries.
In particular, it was noted about the opening of the first «Kazakhstan House» in Lahore, the planned launches of direct flights Almaty-Lahore, Almaty-Karachi, the organization of visits of business delegations of Pakistan to Kazakhstan, the holding of inter-country business forums, as well as the documents considered by the Governments and Institutions of the two countries, contributing to the formation of a fundamental basis for building up bilateral relations.
For his part, Mr. R.Ihsaan stressed the importance and significance of Kazakhstan for Pakistan in the context of developing cooperation with the Central Asian region.
He emphasized the need for the development and diversification of regional infrastructure both for the development of trade and the strengthening people-to-people ties.
The Pakistani politician expressed full support for the announced plans and intention to provide all possible assistance to the activities of the Embassy.
