On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan and on the eve of the Republic Day, an official opening of a thematic photo exhibition dedicated to our country took place on the Central Square of Plovdiv, DKNews.kz reports.
The event was attended by representatives of the city and the region municipalities, scientific community, local intellectuals, the Kazakh diaspora, the Bulgarian public and the media.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Viktor Temirbayev stressed that Astana is one of the main symbols of our state, located in the heart of the Eurasian continent and has become a global dialogue platform for the call for tolerance, peace and integration. The Kazakh diplomat also outlined the main stages of the development and formation of our country as a whole, noting that Kazakhstan embodies an advanced state, which is the center of transformations, innovations and global initiatives, causing genuine interest around the world.
The guests of the event were able to enjoy the flavour of presented photos, reflecting all the beauty and diversity of the architecture of the capital of Kazakhstan.
This photo exhibition will be open to residents and guests of the city until October 29, 2023.
Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria, which is more than 8000 years old, leading its chronicle from prehistoric times to the present day. The city is the most dynamically developing center of Southern Bulgaria, whose economy is based on a well-developed diversified industry, services, tourism and information technology.
