Issues of the rule of law and constitutional control discussed at a conference in St. Petersburg, DKnews.kz reports.
The delegation of the Constitutional Court consisting of judges Sergey Udartsev, Erlan Sarsembayev and employees of the Apparatus visited St. Petersburg, where they took part in the International Conference "Protection of Rights and Constitutional Control".
The conference was organized within the framework of the XII St. Petersburg International Legal Forum on the platform of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The conference was attended by chairmen and judges of constitutional review bodies from 25 countries.
The conference participants discussed important aspects of constitutional control, including the initiation of procedures for the protection of constitutional rights and freedoms.
On the margins of the conference, the Kazakhstani side discussed with representatives of constitutional review bodies from a number of countries topical issues of the legal agenda and law enforcement activities in the field of ensuring constitutional control.
