Abay House Opened in the Turkish Province of Konya, DKnews.kz reports.
The new building of the “Society of Cultural and Social Assistance of Ismil Kazakhs” operating in Karatay district of Konya province of Türkiye, as well as the “Abay House” under the Society were officially opened.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Türkiye Yerkebulan Sapiyev, President of “Otandastar Fund” NJSC Daniyar Kadyrov, Mayor of Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul Omer Arısoy, Mayor of Karatay district Hasan Kılca, Head of the Society of Cultural and Social Assistance of Ismil Kazakhs Muhammet Alim, as well as Kazakhs permanently residing in the provinces of Istanbul, Antalya, Alanya, Konya, Manisa, Nigde and even compatriots from Germany.
In the new building it is planned to organize dombra, Kazakh language courses, as well as cultural events for compatriots and local residents.
In the opening ceremony, specially arrived artists from Kazakhstan demonstrated national folk arts. In particular, the artist of the Karaganda Philharmonic Meruesh Bashay performed the song “Көк тудың желбірегені”, singer Dastan Kabilov performed “Moldabay ani”, kyushi Nurdaulet Dzhuldebayev performed kyu “Akku”, honored artist of Kazakhstan, famous kobyzist Gaini Boltaeva performed “Otan Ana”.
Kazakhs who gathered from all of Türkiye met again, nostalgized by performing beautiful folk works and tasting national cuisine.
