Constitutional Courts of Kazakhstan and Mongolia conclude Memorandum of understanding, DKnews.kz reports
On the margins of the 6th Congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions, the constitutional courts of Kazakhstan and Mongolia signed a Memorandum of understanding.
Kazakhstan and Mongolia have maintained close cooperation for many years, bringing bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership. Cooperation between constitutional control bodies contributes to familiarization with many topical and similar constitutional and legal issues, gives an opportunity to form legal positions taking into account modern trends of law.
Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan Elvira Azimova noted that the signing of the Memorandum is an important step towards the activation and expansion of bilateral cooperation on the way of development of legal statehood, commitment to the principles of constitutional justice, the rule of law and protection of fundamental rights in Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
