On July 9, 2025, the official opening ceremony of the «Jas Qazaq» Summer Educational Ethno-Camp for ethnic Kazakh children from abroad will be held in Burabay, DKnews.kz reports.

On July 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM, the official opening of the «Jas Qazaq» Summer Educational Ethno-Camp will take place at IQanat High School of Burabay, bringing together ethnic Kazakh children from around the world.

The event is organized by Otandastar Qory Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company, operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This year marks the fifth season of the «Jas Qazaq» camp. Since its inception, the project has welcomed over 700 children. In 2025, the camp gathers approximately 150 ethnic Kazakh children from the USA, Turkey, Poland, the UAE, Russia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China – all of whom earned their place by excelling in competitions organized by the Organization.

The camp runs from July 7 to July 20, 2025. During these two weeks, participants will engage in an immersive cultural experience: learning the Kazakh language, history, traditions, playing national games, mastering traditional instruments, building yurts, and horseback riding. They will also take part in an educational fair featuring top universities in Kazakhstan and, most importantly, build lasting friendships with peers from across the globe.

The «Jas Qazaq» summer camp is a vital initiative aimed at strengthening the connection between ethnic Kazakh youth and their historical homeland while preserving their cultural identity. This project exemplifies Otandastar Qory’s commitment to providing consistent cultural, humanitarian, and informational support to Kazakh communities abroad.
