The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region informs that employees of the Department of State Revenue for the city of Aktau, together with the akimat of the city and the police, conducted a raid against citizens who are in arrears in paying transport tax, DKNews.kz reports.
During the raid, restrictions on vehicles were checked, and cars with tax arrears were sent to a parking lot. Administrative measures provided for by law were applied to owners who did not fulfill their tax obligations.
The main goal of the work carried out is to increase the tax discipline of citizens and ensure revenue to the revenue side of the state budget.
To date, 9606 residents in Aktau have transport tax arrears totaling about 700 million tenge. Debt collection orders have been issued against these individuals, and the materials have been transferred to private bailiffs.
Raid events will be held on a regular basis.
