Kazakh creators have confidently stepped onto the global TikTok LIVE stage. At the conclusion of TikTok LIVE Fest 2025, several LIVE creators from Kazakhstan were named among the winners, receiving international recognition and highlighting the growing influence of the local creator community worldwide, DKNews.kz reports.
The past year marked a period of rapid growth for TikTok LIVE. Across Southeast Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, more than 100 million creators hosted live streams on TikTok. The culmination of this momentum was TikTok LIVE Fest, an online festival that brought together over 5 million creators from across the region, including Kazakhstan.
A Global Finale in Phuket
One of the most significant events for the global streaming community, TikTok LIVE Fest 2025, concluded with a large-scale offline final. The regional finale, held under the hashtag #LIVEFest25Phuket, took place in Phuket, Thailand.
More than 200 leading LIVE creators from Southeast Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia gathered for the event. The final showcased the diversity of TikTok LIVE communities, highlighted local experiences, and emphasized the role of live streaming as a space for real-time interaction and cultural exchange across borders.
Diverse LIVE Content Takes Center Stage
Over several weeks, creators went live daily, competing in audience engagement, creativity, and community interaction. Participants climbed rankings, activated viewers, and demonstrated the wide range of LIVE formats available on TikTok — from music and gaming to educational and conversational content.
This diversity reflects the transformation of TikTok LIVE from a purely entertainment-driven format into a professional and cultural ecosystem, where creators can grow, connect with audiences beyond their home countries, and build sustainable careers.
Rapid Growth of TikTok LIVE in the Region
Throughout 2025, live broadcasts in Southeast Asia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia were hosted by over 100 million creators, representing a 77% increase year over year. Notably, more than half of these creators used the LIVE format for the first time, underscoring the rapid expansion of the streaming community.

International Success of Kazakh LIVE Creators
Several creators from Kazakhstan stood out at LIVE Fest 2025, earning international recognition:
- Anara Batyrkhan (@anarbatyrkhan) — an actress and singer whose music LIVE streams recreate the atmosphere of a live concert and bring together a wide audience;
- Ruslan Nurtazin (@omgdnss) — a streamer whose broadcasts go beyond entertainment, serving as a space for cultural exchange among viewers from different countries;

Kazakhstan’s Talent — Live and Global
Anara Batyrkhan was named a winner in the Talent Awards category. Her music LIVE streams received a strong emotional response from viewers. According to the singer, TikTok LIVE allows artists to connect directly with listeners — without intermediaries — and engage in genuine “here and now” dialogue.
This format opens the music industry to new voices and creates additional opportunities for artists to grow. Anara is currently working on new tracks, collaborations, and visual projects while continuing to actively develop her presence on TikTok LIVE.
