Winter in the mountains near Almaty once again became a meeting point for active lifestyle enthusiasts. As part of the Ski With Chery winter event, amateur skiing and snowboarding competitions were held at the Oi Qaragai mountain resort, bringing together Chery customers from across Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.
The client day was organized by Chery Kazakhstan, the official distributor of the brand and a member of the Astana Motors group. Surrounded by snowy slopes, fresh mountain air and scenic landscapes, guests enjoyed a day filled with outdoor activity, open communication and bright winter emotions.
Sport, energy and community spirit
The event was held within the framework of Chery’s global With Chery With Love concept, which unites brand owners around shared values. In Almaty, this philosophy took the form of friendly amateur competitions in skiing and snowboarding, where participation and enjoyment mattered more than results.
Winners received commemorative medals and branded gifts, while all guests were treated to an engaging entertainment program featuring a host, music from a DJ, interactive games, outdoor activities and refreshments in the open air.

The crossover is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 245 hp, intelligent all-wheel drive and a suite of modern safety systems that meet premium-segment standards. In the mountain setting, the Tiggo 9 naturally embodied the idea of confident mobility in winter conditions.

Participants emphasized that the event was memorable not only for sports, but also for its warm and friendly atmosphere.
“The temperature outside is below zero, but the atmosphere here is a big plus. Events like this feel like a real family gathering. You realize that Chery is not just about cars, it’s about attention to us as customers, our interests and strong, genuine friendship,” shared participant Alexandra Sarycheva.
A tradition that continues to grow
Chery client days have already become a good tradition in Kazakhstan and are being held for the fourth consecutive year. These events bring together people for whom a car is not just a means of transportation, but an integral part of an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
