Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Spain Danat Mussayev met with the Chairman of the Committee on Ecological Transition of the Spanish Senate, José Ángel Alonso. The talks centered on the current state of bilateral cooperation and concrete steps to deepen interparliamentary ties between the two countries.
The Spanish side expressed clear interest in further expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan, stressing that close interaction between parliaments plays a key role in strengthening trust and deepening Kazakh-Spanish relations.
Reforms in Kazakhstan draw positive attention
During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed his counterparts on Kazakhstan’s key socio-economic development priorities and the forthcoming constitutional reforms announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Representatives of the Spanish Senate gave a positive assessment of these initiatives, noting that they are aimed at reinforcing institutional foundations and modernizing the country’s political system. According to the Spanish side, such reforms contribute to long-term stability and create a solid basis for international cooperation.
