Pavlodar regional television celebrates it’s 55th anniversary, Kazinform correspondent reports.
During this time, the TV channel has gone through the stages of formation, growth and development, the development of advanced digital television technologies, and the implementation of various creative projects. Looking back at the history of the development of Pavlodar television, relatively recent large-scale changes, the creative and technical development of the TV channel comes to mind, when Bauyrzhan Aitkazin was the head of the TV channel. He is a well-known media manager in Kazakhstan, who went through a large television “school”, from a reporter and presenter, to the general director of the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; he had invested all his knowledge and experience in bringing Pavlodar television to leading positions among regional TV, and also in educating young journalists, who are successfully working throughout Kazakhstan nowadays.
The concept of the TV channel with a meaningful color scheme, well-thought-out news and program screensavers, and studio design was developed and implemented under his leadership. The news, which had previously been edited into the recording, began to appear live six times a day. Open and competitive casting, persistent work with young cadres allowed to following journalists, as the regional experts say, to ignite (or open up in a new way), to become noticeable and who became the face of the screen: Marina Sakharova, Daria Zhumabekova, Alexander Smirnov, Veronica Vishnevskaya, Moldir Zhumadilova , Moldir Kazymbet, and Aizat Kozhabaeva. Saltanat Nysanbekova, Meruert Shukueva, Nazerke Kanagat, Samat Ospanov have grown into venerable reporters and camera operators.
The TV channel has established systematic work to improve qualifications. Employees were sent for internships in other cities. The masters of the national television Beisen Kuranbek, Nurtore Zhusip, Nurtoleu Imangaliuly came here and conducted training seminars. As a result, now those who have grown out of the "nest" of Pavlodar television are successfully working on the republican television channels.
Another innovation is the appearance of bilingual presenters on the air. It’s hardly a rare occurrence on the republican channels, but it was the first time it was implemented in Kazakhstan on the regional scale - Moldir Zhumadilova being the pioneer.
The key idea, which the team promoted, was to popularize the concept of "Ertis" (Irtysh). Therefore, local news has become a brand called ERTYS INFORM. Microphones and television cameras, editorial cars with such a logo began to flash on film sets, in halls and on city streets. For the first time in the history of that TV channel, faces of TV presenters appeared on large banners of the city. They became recognizable.
Another major project which was implemented under Bauyrzhan Aitkazin, is the two-hour morning music and entertainment block on the air “ERTYS TANY”. The popularity of this program has stepped far beyond the Pavlodar region: not only residents of the region called the studio on the phone and expressed gratitude and support, but also people from Atyrau, Shymkent, Semey, Almaty, even neighboring regions of Russia. The guests of the modest regional program were celebrities, such as Asanali Ashimov, Roza Rymbaeva, Meruert Tusupbaeva, Saule Rakhmedova, Yuri Galtsev.
For the first time a book-encyclopedia was published about the history of the TV channel, veterans and active workers under the authorship of Gulzhanat Imangazina, the bearer of the "Akparat salasyk uzdigi” award. Result of a huge rigorous work, that book gives each reader the opportunity to trace the history of the TV channel, the main milestones of its development.
Creative successes allowed the implementation of another trend, "The Main TV Channel Priirtyshya", which promises an honorary title and great responsibility to viewers. That promise was fulfilled by the team, with the help of vigorous work.
The pinnacle of recognition of the success of the Pavlodar region is considered to be the "TEFI" statuette from the authoritative professional community of journalists, presented to the team at the international festival "TEFI" in autumn of 2017.
The final touch to the implementation of large-scale projects was the current name of the TV channel. A successful rebranding was carried out, and the Pavlodar regional TV channel was named "ERTIS".
