On September 7, 2021, Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hellenic Republic presented his credentials to Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the bilateral meeting after the ceremony, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan informed the Greek President about the political and socio-economic reforms proclaimed in the Presidents’ State of the Nation Address.
Particular attention during the conversation was paid to Kazakhstan's role in assisting the settlement of the situation in Afghanistan and the temporary deployment of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), as well as other UN agencies' personnel in Kazakhstan.
К. Sakellaropoulou praised the atmosphere of interethnic harmony in Kazakhstan, where the Greek diaspora, among other nationalities, lives in peace and harmony.
