On March 22, 2022, the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the World Expo 2020 Dubai hosted festive events dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz Meiramy, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
As part of the celebration during the whole day, a series of cultural events were organized for the guests of the Exhibition with the participation of ethno-folklore ensembles "Akzhelen" and "Tarlan", as well as dance ensembles "Orda" and "Naz".
In honor of the holiday, a yurt was built in front of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where a theatrical performance was presented to attention of visitors, demonstrating the traditions and rituals of Kazakh people. In addition, a tasting of national meals of Kazakh and Eastern cuisine was organized for the guests of the Pavilion. Visitors especially liked Kazakh traditional delicacies - bauyrsaks, zhent and kurt.
We should also say that the popular Kazakh performer Dimash Kudaibergen visited the festive events of the Pavilion.
As a reminder, the World EXPO 2020 takes place in Dubai from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and is the first EXPO organized in the Middle East. The theme of the exhibition is "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". According to the Organizing Committee of EXPO 2020 Dubai, as of March 19, the exhibition was visited by 20 million people.
The National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the most visited pavilions of the Exhibition and, according to the information of Organizing Committee of EXPO-2020, is included in the Top 10 best pavilions. To date, the Pavilion has been visited by more than 1.4 million visitors.
In addition to tourist interest, the Pavilion has high business interest from international business circles. Over the entire period, about 50 business and cultural events are planned to be carried out at the Pavilion site, as a part of which conferences, forums, B2B meetings are being held, as well as the projects on investment and tourism potential of the country and scientific and educational initiatives presented there too.
