Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Baktiaruly took part in the meeting of the Commission on Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The main topic of discussion of the participants of the Commission was the issue of public health. At the meeting it was noted that parliamentarians play an important role in improving this sphere.
The TurkPA member countries also discussed the measures taken to improve the situation in the sector, as well as previously prepared recommendations on the coordination of the health system.
The participants also attended a seminar on exchanging experiences, learning together and joining forces to develop medicines. Particular attention was paid to work on disease prevention, the development of family medicine, and the training of physicians.
