President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping at Nur-Sultan’s airport, who arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
In honor of the Chinese leader the Honor Guard was formed.
After the ceremony, the motorcade headed to the Akorda presidential palace, where the two leaders will discuss prospects for strengthening the Kazakh-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership. A number of documents are expected to be signed following the negotiations.
