Deputy of Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ye.K. Zhamaubayev met with Vice President of Nuctech Company Limited Wang Yungang today. Currently, work is underway on the modernization and technical re-equipment of 9 motor-car and 1 railway checkpoints located on the Kazakhstan section of the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Main Dispatching Department of the SRC MF in Astana."
As a result, the capacity of checkpoints will be increased up to 8 times.
The parties noted that this is an important infrastructure project that will allow for high-quality and timely state control at the state border.
As a result of the modernization, the infrastructure problems of checkpoints will be solved and the tasks of automating the entire business process of conducting types of state control at border crossings will be implemented.
