FlyArystan has got its own “Berkut” (means eagle in Kazakh). It’s 13th aircraft that arrived from manufacturer in Toulouse in December, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The name of this aircraft has been given by the airline passengers who follow FlyArystan in Instagram. According to the competition condition, followers proposed the most suitable name of constellation. The most popular proposal was “Berkut” or “Aquila” in Latin.
According to passenger @makpal.k.e, Berkut is the symbol of our country, of Turkish nations.
“It is depicted on our national flag and also on blazons, insignia of military units in some countries symbolizing courage and bravery. If berkut is a bird, the aircraft is a bird in aviation. Moreover, it’s the largest eagle while Airbus is a big aircraft. Berkut is rare sacred bird that listed in the Red data book. The airplanes don’t have the same names. Berkut has become the second new aircraft which has arrived this year and the second of the 7th aircraft that specifically designed and produced for Kazakh low cost carrier by Airbus. The first brand new aircraft was named after the constellation of the lion "Leo".
FlyArystan plans to expand its fleet to 19 A320 aircraft by December 2023.
The 13th aircraft as A320 Neo which arrived in October 2022 is equipped with 188 seats and is eco-friendly.

Features of Airbus A320Neo FlyArystan:
